Police are appealing for witnesses after a 21-year-old woman was indecently assaulted in Bath last night, Wednesday October 6.
The woman was walking down some steps on Broad Street Place, between Walcot Street and Broad Street, Bath at about 22.15hrs when she was grabbed and assaulted by a man who had come up behind her.
The man is described as white, between 25 and 40-years-old, between 5ft7 and 6ft tall, with short dark hair and was wearing dark clothing.
During the assault the victim bit the offender on his hand causing him to run off back up the steps towards Broad Street.
Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area of Broad Street or Walcot Street at around this time or anyone who has noticed a man matching this description who has an injured hand this morning.
