PEOPLE with mobility difficulties in Midsomer Norton and Radstock can now get around the area much more easily thanks to a new dial-a-ride for the towns launched today (Monday, November 29).
Funded by Bath & North East Somerset Council, Norton Radstock Town Council and the Countryside Agency, the fully accessible low floor bus will be making journeys around Midsomer Norton, Westfield and Radstock. It will also serve Paulton Hospital.
Journeys cost £2 return and £1 single and must be pre-booked the day before travel by calling Tel: 01761 416008 between 10am and 11am.
Passengers also need to register to use the scheme and pay a £2 registration fee.
The bus runs Monday to Friday from 9am-4pm and places are available on a first come first served basis.
